Souther

JD Souther was one of the principal architects of the Southern California country-rock
sound. He played a key role in the formation of the Eagles and co-wrote many
of their songs including “Best of my Love” and their
most recent single “How Long.” After recording his own hit “You’re
Only Lonely” in 1984, Souther became one of the most highly sought-after
songwriters and has written songs for numerous performers including
Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor. You will find yourself singing along
